ARIYOH: THE CAT WITH NINE LIVES
ARIYOH: THE CAT WITH NINE LIVES
WRITTEN BY: Mikel Ayodeji Fadeyi
There
is surely no doubt about the fact that a nation under recession is bedeviled
with catalogue of woes, crisis of confidence, web of doubts, cesspool of fear,
colony of maggots, yoke of poverty and oasis of backwardness. But be that as it may, there is always an
automatically proven solution to every challenges ( or puzzles of life). Who is
the Messiah for the Lost Souls? Who is the earthly Possessor of the Balm of
Gilead? Who is coming forward to turn things around -gravel to gravel? Who
knows how to correctly plug the holes? Who can put things back on track? Who
doesn't slip a wing until we win? Yes! We need a man who will remind us of the
world's most humble president -Jose
Mujica of Uruguay (2010-2015). Dictum factum!
According
to research, Nigeria has 129 universities, 71 polytechnics, 79 colleges of
education and 47 monotechnics. These are institutions that supposedly help
harness youthful leaders that will help raise the name of the nation from
Grassroot level to global acceptance.

With
a lion's heart, Ariyoh steered the affairs of Oshodi/Isolo from October 2011 to
October 2014. Ariyoh is enviably experienced, unreservedly approachable,
continuously innovative, analytically creative, inexplicably plausible,
culturally endowed and peerlessly intelligent. To crown it all, he has a
stainless conscience.
With
a lion's heart, Ariyoh steered the affairs of Oshodi/Isolo from October 2011 to
October 2014. Ariyoh is enviably experienced, unreservedly approachable,
continuously innovative, analytically creative, inexplicably plausible,
culturally endowed and peerlessly intelligent. To crown it all, he has a
stainless conscience.
For
this great purpose, Oshodi/Isolo was gifted Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, a chip off
the old block, son of former majority leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly,
late Alhaji Moshood Muse Ariyoh, during Alhaji Lateef Jakande's administration
(Second Republic).
Unprecedentedly,
he handled and commissioned 48 different projects that involved schools, roads,
drainages, poverty alleviation scheme, to mention but a very few. Despite all
the allegations and counter allegations from the opposition, he only waxed
stronger in his efforts to sanitize the system on the forefront. He erased the
notoriety and infamy identified with Oshodi by creating individualism participation
aura of serenity, beauty and reverence. He fought tooth and nails through
multitude of contradictions to pump Oshodi into a positive social pipe.

I
state without any iota of equivocation that inasmuch as the challenge of
governance has been to tirelessly find ways of improving the lives of the
populace, Ariyoh will never rest on his oars. This is the time to come out en
bloc. Let's do away with the old, traditional psyche of 'wait-and-see' syndrome
nay quid pro quo! Ariyoh is simply acta non verba!
On
the whole, we should bear bear in mind that National freedom without a robust,
state-of-the-art robust, home and street security is meaningless. Like the
point of a knife, pain gives us sharp focus. We should not mortgage our future
for a paltry bowl of porridge. Ariyoh is the man for the season! Ariyoh is the
carriage of comfortability! Ad victorian!
Long live Oshodi/Isolo! Long live Lagos state! Long live APC!
